Tribhuvan Army Club has entered the semifinals of Mai Valley Gold Cup

Tribhuvan Army Club has entered the semifinals of 6th Mai Valley Gold Cup in Ilam. Army defeated Sangkata 2-1 in the quarterfinal on Sunday at Illam.

Sudil Rai gave lead to Army in 6th minute of the first half. The Army, which had maintained a lead for much of the first half, Sankata score goal at the end of the first half. Daddy Wamba equalised for Sankata Club.

In the very exciting match, Army scored the goal at the end of the second half In the 81st minute of the game, Susdil scored a personal second goal to make it easier for the Army to win the game.

A division league winners Machindra and Gorkha Boys will compete in the next quarterfinals.

The winner of the competition has a 8 lakh cash prize. The tournament is organized by the Mai Valley Club.
