Samba’s late strike made Gokulam Womens’ league Champions

Gokulam Kerela FC defeated Krishpa FC in the final of Hero Indian Women’s league by three goals to two, today ath the Banglore stadium, India.

Parmeswori Devi scored in the 2nd minutes of the match to give a very early lead for Gokulam. kamala Devi doubled Gokulam’s lead in the 25th minutes and added more pressure on Krishpa. Krishpa somehow managed to get a goal back in the 34th minutes of the match. Skipper Dangmi Grace was the goalscorer.

In the 2nd half, Krishpa had momentum with them. Utilizing it Ratanwala devi got a equalizer in the 73rd minutes of the match. This goal added more excitement in the match. As the match was close to Stoppage time Nepal International Sabitra Bhandari tapped in home utilizing an assist from Manisha Kalyan.

Gokulam holded Krishpa after Samba’s goal. Gokulam are now the champions of this seasons Hero IWL. Samba is the highest scorer of this season’s league with a total of 18 goals from 7 matches.
