Army with another big win, defeated APF

Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Nepal APF by 2-1 to regain the top spot in the league table today at the Anfa Complex, Satdobato.

Santosh Tammang scored both goals for TAC. He scored first goal in the 17th minutes of the match from a rebound after his penalty was saved by APF’s goalie Raju Yogi. Highest scorer for APF this season Ashish Lama leveled the score in the 37th minutes.

Santosh Tammang scored 2nd of the day for him and for his club in the 41st minutes. He scored his 2nd free-kick goal of the season to give the lead for TAC once again. Later In the 2nd half both teams couldn’t score and the final result was in the favour of Army.

Army are just two wins away from their first ever league title. APF are still fighting to be prevented from Relegation. APF have just 5 points.
