Samba scored once again in Gokulam Clubs win over Banglore

Gokulam Kerela FC defeated Banglore United by 5 goals to 1 in the Hero Indian Women’s League today. After this win Gokulam are through to the Semifinal of this Season’s Hero IWL.

Gokulam were lucky and take the first lead in the match from an own goal. Kumari from Banglore United scored on her own nets in the 3rd minutes of the match. Banglore gave an immediate response to Gokulam’s lead. Satyabati scored in the 5th minutes to level the match. The first half ended 1-1.

Soon after the start of first Half Gokulam got their lead back. Sabitra Bhandari scored a powerful header in the 46th minutes of the 2nd half and gave Gokulam the lead. After Gokulam got their lead back they started to score more and more.

Kamala Devi scored in the 51st minutes to extend Gokulam’s lead. She scored 2nd goal for herself in the 59th and completed her Hat-trick in the 90+3minutes in the match.

The final score of the match was 5-1 and with this win Gokulam are through to the semifinal in style.
