Batting first Perch were able to set an easy target of 87 runs. Perch were all-out in 13.5 overs at 86 runs. Josh Inglis made highest runs for Perch today. Total 37 runs came from his bat playing 19 balls. Cameron Bancroft made 10 whereas Mitchell Marsh could only make 7 runs for Perch.

Stars bowled really well.

It was an easy target and Stars batted pretty comfortably. Marcus Stonnis made 39 runs from 31 balls. Hilton Cartwright made 17 runs and Seb Gotch 14 runs for Stars.

Defending a total of 86 runs is almost not possible. Perch couldn’t show magic in their bowling as they had set a very low target. Mitchell Marsh and Fawad Ahmed took a wicket each for Perch.

Melbourne Stars are at the top of the table whereas Perch slipped down to 4th place after this humiliating loss.
