Three Star beats MMC and advance to final

Three star won over MMC in the semifinal match of Tilottama Gold Cup played on Thursday by 2-1 goals.

Manang has been defeated three times in the third meeting with the Three Star this year. The two teams faced off in the Madan Bhandari Memorial Itahari Gold Cup Football Championship in Chitwan on November 16.

It will be the sixth final of the Theee Star Club, which has returned in domestic football after one and a half years. Three Star only won 2 title sir Far in 5 final game this season.

Buddha Chemjong and Nirajan Khadka scored goals for the Three Star to win. For Manang, Florrass scored in 23th minute with the lead MMC. Buddha’s 24th-minute half volley beat Manang’s goalkeeper Bishal Shrestha.

Three Star took the lead in the 39th minute by score of captain Nirajan Khadka. Regin Dhimal’s cross and head by Nirajan to score. Manang missed some opportunities despite trying to score in second half. In the 77th minute of the match, Bimal Rana found the chance to score from 6 yard from boxes, but he could not beat the Three Star Alan Neopane. Similarly, in the 88th minute, the free kick by the Bisal Rai went the top of the post and confirmed won by the Three Star.

Three Star will face Nepal Police Club in the final on Saturday. Earlier, in the first semi-finals of the seminar, police beat Lalli Rupandehhi 11.
